Revenue Sources and Business Model
Journal of Arts, Meaning and Public Life (JAMPL) is committed to transparency in all aspects of its operations. The journal is produced and hosted by FLAYOO Publishing House LTD and operates with a commitment to ethical publishing, editorial independence, and long-term sustainability.
Revenue Sources
To support its editorial workflow, publishing operations, and open-access dissemination, JAMPL may draw on the following revenue sources:
Author Fees
As part of its open-access publishing model, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover costs associated with manuscript processing, peer-review administration, editorial handling, production, hosting, and dissemination. These fees support the accessibility of published articles while helping the journal maintain professional publishing standards.
Advertising
The journal may accept advertisements from academic institutions, scholarly organizations, educational services, academic publishers, and other professional bodies whose activities are relevant to the journal’s mission and scope. All advertisements are subject to review to ensure appropriateness, relevance, and consistency with the journal’s ethical standards.
Reprints
Where applicable, reprints of published articles or journal issues may be provided to authors, institutions, or organizations for academic dissemination and professional use.
Institutional and Publishing Support
The journal may also benefit from legitimate institutional, publishing, or professional support from partners whose interests align with the advancement of scholarship in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
Editorial Independence
The revenue model of JAMPL does not influence editorial decision-making in any form. Editorial assessment, peer review, and publication decisions are based solely on the scholarly quality, originality, relevance, and academic merit of submitted manuscripts.
To ensure transparency and integrity:
- Editorial Integrity: APCs and other revenue sources do not affect editorial decisions.
- Independent Peer Review: All manuscripts undergo editorial screening and peer review independently of financial considerations.
- Separation of Functions: Financial matters, advertising, and other revenue-related activities are kept separate from editorial and peer-review decisions.
Through this model, JAMPL seeks to maintain both financial sustainability and the highest standards of academic publishing.
